What a great experience the students of Room 20 & 21 had when on camp in Kaikoura. They ventured down the coastline, exploring and learning facts from the past and then took part in a powhiri at Takahanga Marae where they stayed.
Second day they group chose between experiencing the new zip-line or mini-golf and Escape Room. The zip-line was clearly a real favourite. The students also visited the well resourced Kaikoura Museum.
The third day ended with a walk around the Kaikoura Peninsula where there many sightings of birdlife, seals and activity on the water.
A huge thank you to Mr Waechter and Mrs Schroder for a well organised and fun camp.
Some photos of the when I was able to be part of the excitement.
