Thursday 28 March Renwick School welcomed 60 personnel from Omaka Airforce to join us to launch one of many different activities that demonstrates our school values: respectful, resilience and resourceful.
Within minutes we saw authentic engagement with our tamariki as the two groups worked together for a morning of fun.
Respect was shown as our tamariki reached out to involve our visitors in the different activities where we saw collaboration between the two groups. We also saw and heard respect through communication.
Resilience was demonstrated by getting involved as a group, senior students and junior students working together and participating in new activities that were challenging.
Resourceful was very evident with the different resources/knowledge that each person brought to the day.
