Monday 19 August Renwick and Fairhall (who play as a combined team) played Awatere in the Final. The sportsmanship, determination and skill from both teams resulted in a draw. The game started in full sunshine and ended in a hail storm which added further elements to the atmosphere.
The teams each had a 5 penalty shoot out which was definitely a new thing for Renwick/Fairhall team.
Awatere won the shoot out 2 - 1.
Well done to all players, you have done so well making it to the finals. Thanks to coaches, managers and parents for the hard work and time given to the team.
