Just over 100 students, with the support of approx 30 adults left for two days camp and two days sport in Nelson.
The group had a great trip over, finishing the first day with adventure sports inlcuding Laser Tag which appeared to be the favourite. Second day the visited the Nelson museum for the morning and Suter Art Gallery for the afternoon.
Thursday and Friday the group represented Renwick School playing rugby, netball, basketball, volleyball, badminton, table tennis, football and hockey. The teams played other Y7/8 schools including Intermediates, Prep and St Pauls.
Well done to you all and it is always great to hear how respectful the students have been to one another, parents and when out in the community.
A HUGE thanks to the staff for the organisation and time put into visiting the places before the camp and then the 24 hours supervision for the four days. Can you imagine what meal times were like? I also send a big 'THANK YOU' to all parents for taking time to support our school and giving their time. Without this help camps would not be able to happen.
Some photos of the sports on the Thursday to follow.
