Rooms 18, 16, and 5 got a taste of Dutch language and culture during International Languages Week, thanks to a wonderful visit from school parent Sophie Bonarius.
As part of International Languages Week, Rooms 18, 16, and 5 were treated to a special Dutch lesson courtesy of school parent Sophie Bonarius. Sophie spoke to the classes about what it’s like to learn a new language and the many benefits that come with it, sharing an interactive PowerPoint that included learning the Dutch alphabet and some fun songs.
It was particularly lovely to see students Koen, Pim, and Syb step up to help teach their classmates some Dutch — a special moment for them and their peers alike!
