After months of planning by our GreenFerns group, Renwick School’s brand new scooter track is officially open — and students wasted no time hitting the corners and bumps!
The hard work of our GreenFerns planning group has finally come to fruition — our scooter track is ready for action! Today we welcomed students onto the track and it was fantastic to see them physically active, navigating the corners and bumps and growing in confidence with every lap.
It was also wonderful to witness the manaakitanga on display — students of all ages showing kindness and respect to one another as they shared and negotiated the new space together.
GreenFerns are now turning their attention to the next phase, looking at signage, plants, and other ways to transform the area into something truly park-like — a space where students can observe, explore, and share the fun.
