In their very first entry into the Simon Mannering Rugby League Tournament in Nelson, Renwick School’s Year 5/6 team brought home the trophy — an absolutely incredible achievement!
Renwick School was invited to send a team to Nelson to compete in the Year 5/6 Simon Mannering Rugby League Tournament — and what a debut it turned out to be!
The team represented the school with pride, displaying outstanding sportsmanship and fair play throughout the day. And to top it all off, they brought the trophy home — an extraordinary result for a first-time entry into this tournament.
Well done to Lewis J, Corban M, Flynn T, Ned B, Jairus T, Harlen N, Toby J, Maddox S, Luan R, and Marko S — we are incredibly proud of every one of you.
A huge thank you to the parents who coached, managed, and transported the team to Nelson, and to Mr Rowton for his support of the team throughout.
