Inter school mountain biking event

What a great day it was on Friday with the group of 45 riders as we came home with the trophy as winning school.  Our riders performed incredibly with many of them finishing in the top 10.Once again a very proud principal and very grateful to the many parents who supported with transport....

Pets Day 2022

We have an incredible display of animals, baking and arts & crafts here at Renwick School.  The passion and understanding from the children about their pets is a true sign of the dedication and time they have given.   Another great display of outstanding organisation from FORS, staff and parents: Jo N, Ange D, Brenna, Caroline B, Ainsley B and more. Fern, the falcon, comes to Renwick School

Maia whanau raised $616.60 from their crazy hair day in support of the Falcon Trust.  Today Fern, the falcon, Lizzie and Diana come to collect the money.  The children were an incredible audience who sang a waiata for Fern and shared their story about facts they had learnt and the Crazy Hair day they organised.Because the group had raised so much, it means they are now eligible to sponsor a falcon of their own.  Well done Maia, we are all very proud of you....

Y 5-8 Renwick School swimming sports

Thursday 22 September we gathered at The Stadium to watch some of our students swim.  It was great to see students challenging themselves, supporting one another and for some swimming distances that were new for them.It was disappointing however, to only have some of the Y 5-8 students there and am working hard to identify how we can support and encourage more to attend in 2023....

Hayley, our solo entry at Science Fair

Te Pā Wānanga Kapa Haka performance

On Wednesday 21 September Renwick kura was treated to an outstanding Kapa Haka performance from our tamariki at Te Pā Wānanga. The shared with us the performance they performed at the festival in Whakatū (Nelson). 2022 Netball final - highlights

Congratulations to Renwick Rimu who won the grade one netball final against an unbeaten Fairhall Falcons team on Saturday. A hard fought game that saw the girls come from behind in the third quarter to secure the lead. Marlborough Mountain Bike Champion - Cam Anderson

On Friday we finished our mountain bike club with a visit from Marlborough's Mountain bike champion, Cam Anderson.Cam shared his life's story and his recent success at The Whistler where he won an enduro series by 0.04 of a second.Cam is currently at Marlborough Boys College as a Y12 student, with an incredible vision going forward.We are so proud to have such a talented mountain biker living in Blenheim....

Like A Boss - young leaders at Renwick School

At our staff hui we were treated to a presentation from two of our young leaders teams about the journeys they have been on to create their business. Each team, consisting between 3 - 5 people, each recieved $20 to get them started.  This money is repaid back and the rest of the proceeds will go towards camp costs. The teams talked about how they had to identify a business idea, tap into the community for support and then produce the product to then sell to the wider community.   The g...

Maia whanau visits Falcon Trust

Last week Māia Whānau went to visit the Marlborough Falcon Conservation Trust inBrancott Road. This is a volunteer-run charitable trust which is focused on the conservationof the New Zealand falcon, known as the Kārearea, which is listed as “At Risk”. Lego Club at Renwick School

Friday Clubs, Term 3, 2022
