Rooms 20 and 21 headed to Kaikōura for a three-day camp packed with culture, adventure, wildlife, and memories that will last a lifetime.
What a wonderful experience the students of Rooms 20 and 21 had on camp in Kaikōura! The adventure began with a journey down the coastline, exploring and learning about the history of the area, before the group took part in a pōwhiri at Takahanga Marae — where they also stayed for the duration of the camp.
On the second day, students chose between the new zip-line, mini-golf, or an Escape Room — and the zip-line was clearly the standout favourite! The group also visited the well-resourced Kaikōura Museum, adding a great educational element to the day.
The third and final day wrapped up with a walk around the Kaikōura Peninsula, where students were treated to wonderful sightings of birdlife, seals, and activity out on the water — a perfect ending to a fantastic trip.
