Three Renwick School students travelled to Auckland and came home with 3rd place at the NZ Aquabots competition — competing against 53 teams from across the country.
We had three very capable students represent Renwick School at the NZ Aquabots competition in Auckland over the weekend. With 53 teams competing across primary, intermediate, and secondary schools, it was a fantastic event.
Our Year 5/6 team — Heidi J, Georgia O, and Matheson M — came home with an outstanding 3rd place finish. This is an incredible achievement, and on behalf of all Renwick students and staff, we couldn’t be prouder of you.
A huge thank you to Miss Niederkrome, who travelled with the team and has supported them throughout the year at local events, and to Leisha M, who also made the trip to Auckland and helped with organisation and support on the day. Seeing the team greeted at the airport said it all — well done!
