Around 90 students from Renwick School and Te Pā Wānanga headed to Nelson for two days of winter sport — football, hockey, netball, basketball, volleyball, badminton, and table tennis — giving it everything they had!
What a great feeling it was sending off car loads of energised students to Nelson for two days of winter sport! Approximately 90 students from Renwick School and Te Pā Wānanga took part, competing in a wide variety of sports including football, hockey, table tennis, netball, basketball, volleyball, and badminton, against other Year 7/8 students from Nelson and Blenheim.
Staff were incredibly proud of all our students and the way they gave their all — striving for personal bests while playing as true team players throughout.
A big thank you to the staff for their organisation, and to our wonderful parents who supported with transport, coaching, managing teams, and staying overnight to support the group. It truly takes a community to make trips like this happen.
