Renwick School’s Year 7/8 hockey team put on a brilliant display at Marlborough Turf, scoring five goals with sharp passing and great teamwork from start to finish.
My granddaughter Lanah and I were thoroughly spoilt to watch such a great game of hockey from our Year 7/8 team. The game was predominantly played in our opponents’ half, with astute and purposeful passing on display, strong support from every player on the field, and five well-earned goals scored against the opposition.
Well done to the whole team, and to their dedicated coach Andrew N and manager Sara S for all their hard work behind the scenes.
Lanah even made it into the team photo, making sure everyone was there to receive the recognition they so rightly deserved!
