Three Renwick School students represented the school at the 2024 South Island Schools Cyclocross Championships, coming home with a well-earned 3rd place in the U16 relay event.
It was fantastic to see our students compete at the 2024 South Island Schools Cyclocross Championships, with Tom F, Ollie B, and Sam M representing Renwick School on the day.
The boys placed 3rd in the U16 relay event — a great result! In the relay format, each rider took turns completing a lap before passing the timing chip to the next, with the race running for 40 minutes in total. A real team effort from start to finish.
The event also invited the Marlborough Mountain Bike Club to make use of the extensive track, and it was brilliant to see so many other Renwick School students out there enjoying the course too.
