Renwick School welcomed 60 personnel from Omaka Airforce to help launch our school values — and within minutes the authenticity of the engagement between our tamariki and visitors said everything.
On Thursday 28 March, Renwick School was delighted to welcome 60 personnel from Omaka Airforce to join us for the launch of our school values: Respectful, Resilient, and Resourceful. It was a morning of fun, connection, and genuine learning.
Within minutes of the two groups coming together, the authentic engagement was plain to see. Our tamariki reached out to involve their visitors in the different activities, with wonderful collaboration and communication flowing naturally between the groups — Respectful in every sense.
Resilience shone through as senior and junior students got involved together, participating in new and challenging activities as a team. And Resourceful was evident everywhere — in the different skills, knowledge, and perspectives each person brought to the day.
