What a great day our Renwick students had at the Marlborough Cricket Festival! Two teams, two brilliant stories.
The Renwick Strikers went through the entire day undefeated across five games — an outstanding achievement. Meanwhile the Renwick Scorchers claimed a win of their own and showed massive improvement from the first game to the last. Throughout the day, students demonstrated respect for themselves and others, resilience as they dug deep as a team, and came home with new skills to add to their kete.
A huge thank you to parent managers Stephen Crawford and Lu Ferrer, who did a fantastic job looking after the teams, and to Ned and Chloe for their umpiring — it was so appreciated. Well done everyone!
